Brooklynn H. White

Attorney

Not planning for the inevitable is the biggest mistake many people make. As an attorney, I believe it is important to work through estate planning not only with compassion, but in a timely and organized way. Doing such makes the topic many clients dread surprisingly enjoyable.

Brooklynn joined the team at OMW in the fall of 2021 after receiving her law degree from the University of South Carolina School of Law. Her practice primarily focuses on estate planning, probate, and trust administration. Brooklynn always knew she wanted to practice law, “I went to law school because I always had a desire to help people work through complex issues. I find it rewarding to help others.”

Originally from Rock Hill, South Carolina, Brooklynn received her undergraduate degree from the University of Alabama where she graduated Magna Cum Laude with a major in Political Science and a minor in Computer Science. During her time at Alabama, Brooklynn was involved in several student organizations.

While in law school, she served as Associate Research Editor of the Journal of Law and Education and was a member of the Student Bar Association. She also participated in the Law School’s Academic Success Program in which she tutored first-year students in criminal law. Additionally, she completed an externship with U.S. District Court Judge Margaret B. Seymour, where she received a Certificate of Excellence.

In her free time, Brooklynn enjoys traveling, spending time with friends and family, and playing with her Golden Retriever, Miller.
